The directorial debut of Helen Hunt brought in $74,000 as of April 27, a fair amount, considering it opened in 9 locations this weekend. The film hits a limited U.S. release May 2 and a wider release May 9.

“ThinkFilm’s dramedy ‘Then She Found Me,’ directed by and starring Helen Hunt, posted a per-screen average of $8,226 in grossing an estimated $74,395 from nine theaters in L.A. and Gotham.”
